Kathleen began her journey in healthcare in 2000 as a registered nurse in labor and delivery. While she loved working with women and families during such an intense and intimate time, she realized she craved a deeper and more long-term connection with patients. Thus, she returned to school and earned her doctorate degree in nursing practice from the University of Washington. Kathleen has been practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife since 2017, and is excited to join the team at Advanced Women's Health to continue to serve women in healthcare.

Peggy started her career in healthcare in 1978, working her way up from LPN to ARNP. Since becoming a Nurse Midwife in 2001, Peggy has thoroughly enjoyed the relationships she has built with her clients and their families. She feels honored to have supported over 2000 women in their birth journey.
Peggy is very excited to be joining the team at Advanced Women’s Health. The opportunity for her to do the work she loves – helping women – and having time to devote to her family and personal life is a perfect balance for her. Lydia has been working in healthcare since 2000 when she became a licensed midwife. She enjoyed helping new families throughout the childbearing year. Wanting to expand her scope of practice, she decided to return to school, attending Pacific Lutheran University's Nurse Practitioner program. She became Board Certified in Family Practice in 2007 and has since worked in a variety of areas, including Family Practice, Emergency Care and Walk-in Clinic services.

Kathy has worked in health care since 1983 in a variety of settings including end of life care, bereavement, and adolescent/adult mental health. Her interest is in listening as well as teaching skills to alleviate the pain of grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, etc.. She became a licensed Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2012 so she can prescribe psychiatric medications if needed. She enjoys working together with a medical team to provide holistic support for her patients. Those who know Kathy say she is warm, friendly, and easy to talk with.

Sydney Lee has been practicing therapy since 2012. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. Ms. Lee has practiced in multiple locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and has worked with a variety of client concerns. It was during her work in community mental health she discovered her passion for working with those who struggle with low self-confidence, emotional regulation, boundary setting, childhood trauma and anxiety.
Sydney believes in providing compassionate competent care and that therapy is most effective when the client and therapist work as a team to achieve counseling goals.
