Alexa Velez-Pearson, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Alexa has been working in psychiatry for over ten years in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She enjoys helping others feel like their best healthy selves and doing what it takes to get her client’s smiles back.

In gaining her PMHNP from Walden University, she is stepping into a new role as a provider and feels excited to join Advanced Women’s Health to promote mental wellness. Her goal is to listen attentively, provide support, and offer help to those in need of mental health services at all stages of life.

Outside of her career, Alexa is married with eight beautiful children and enjoys spending time outdoors and with pets. She also loves music and art, and uses her creativity to explore the world around her.

 

Sydney Lee, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Sydney Lee has been practicing therapy since 2012. She attended Pacific Lutheran University and received her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2013. Ms. Lee has practiced in multiple locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and has worked with a variety of client concerns. It was during her work in community mental health she discovered her passion for working with those who struggle with low self-confidence, emotional regulation, boundary setting, childhood trauma and anxiety.

Sydney believes in providing compassionate competent care and that therapy is most effective when the client and therapist work as a team to achieve counseling goals. Ms. Lee practices evidence based therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
